Initially established in 1972 as Keely Shipping, by three brothers, Michael, John and Anthony Kelly, providing RO/RO services between the UK and Ireland. Over the years, as the company grew, the brothers recruited key industry personnel, expanding road freight services across Europe and LO/LO container shipping to and from the US and Asia.
In 1989, the group expanded with the launch of Keely Express Freight, offering clients the quickest transit times for air and road freight. Utilising a vast network of like minded companies across the globe, we were able to provide industry with J.I.T solutions for the ever growing concept of reduced stock inventory with quicker lead-times from supplier to customer.
After the removal of trade borders within the EU, the Group saw the potential to offer even faster transit times and pioneered the Emergency Freight concept in 1995. This unique time critical logistics service was one of the first offered anywhere in the world and remains a marquee brand today. Emergency Freight delivers SAMEDAY delivery solutions to and from any location. Operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year under the ethos,
